Former UFC heavyweight and The Ultimate Fighter 30 winner Mohammed Usman will make his ACA debut at ACA 206, where he is set to face Belarusian heavyweight Kirill Grishenko.
The bout will mark Usman's first appearance under the ACA banner. During his UFC run, the Nigerian competed in six fights, earning four victories. His résumé includes wins over Jake Collier, Junior Tafa, Thomas Petersen and Hamdy Abdelwahab.
Usman's biggest achievement came in 2022 when he won the heavyweight tournament on The Ultimate Fighter 30, knocking out Zac Pauga in the second round of the final. The 37-year-old enters ACA with a professional record of 11-4 and has never been stopped by knockout.
Standing across from him will be one of ACA's fastest-rising heavyweights. Grishenko owns a 9-2 record and comes into the contest on a four-fight winning streak. The Belarusian has defeated Ji Won Kang, Mauro Cerilli, Ben Tynan and Kleydson Abreu, earning a unanimous decision over Abreu in his successful ACA debut at ACA 201.
Before joining ACA, Grishenko competed in ONE Championship, where he challenged Anatoly Malykhin for the interim heavyweight title.
The matchup brings together two experienced heavyweights who have competed on the sport's biggest international stages. For Usman, it is an opportunity to make an immediate statement in his new promotion, while Grishenko looks to extend his winning streak and move closer to title contention.
ACA 206 takes place on August 15 at CSKA Arena in Moscow. Tickets are available on the official ACA website.
