In addition to engaging the British Athletic Commission at the ACB 50 tournament, we have also made progress in the issue of doping control. It was at ACB 48 in Moscow that we met with the representatives of the Anti-Doping Agency and agreed that they will come to St. Petersburg to sample the “Berkut” fighters who will participate in the tournament. Eventually it was done, and soon we will get a report from them.
According to our agreement, for the first six months we will randomly test the fighters, analyze the samples without announcing the results. That is, the fighters should use these 6 months for self-education in the first place - they will have to become more careful and responsible about the process of their preparation, and most importantly to closely monitor any additives and drugs that they use. And starting from July 1 we will conduct full random testing, make the results public and punish the guilty!
