ACB Lightweight, Leandro Silva, will take on Ali Bagov in Krasnodar at ACB 80 on February 16th. He spoke to us about his last fight and his thought on his next:
You had a very impressive win at ACB 73 - how did you find that fight and what was it like fighting in Rio again?
- The fight in Rio de Janeiro was a very hard one. Islam Makoev is an excellent fighter and I value this victory very much. To fight in Rio where I am from was a very cool experience!
Your next challenge is against Ali Bagov - what are your thoughts on him as an opponent?
- True, I will fight Ali Bagov who is also an excellent and dangerous fighter. I know that it will be a great challenge for me to fight him in Russia especially. I have a great respect for all the athletes and all the Russian people. I see them as true warriors like we are in Brazil.
Do you see any weaknesses in his fighting style?
- Every athlete has strengths and weaknesses, And that's what makes MMA so attractive.
What are your predictions for how the fight will end?
