Kokov and Polpudnikov Set for Welterweight Clash at ACA 207

Former lightweights Mukhamed Kokov and Alexey Polpudnikov are set to collide in the welterweight division at ACA 207, which takes place on September 12 in Krasnodar.

Kokov enters the bout with a professional record of 20 wins and 11 losses. The 33-year-old has built his career around a strong grappling game, earning 11 submission victories. During his ACA tenure, Kokov has defeated Pavel Gordeev, Vener Galiev, Hacran Dias and former UFC title challenger Davi Ramos. In his most recent outing at ACA 199, he dropped a unanimous decision to Abdul-Rakhman Temirov.

A longtime veteran of the promotion, Polpudnikov continues his campaign at welterweight after spending the majority of his career competing in lighter weight classes. "The Gladiator" owns a professional record of 36-13-1, with 29 of his victories coming inside the distance—20 by knockout and nine by submission. Throughout his ACA career, he has shared the cage with top-level opponents including Islam Omarov, Abdul-Rakhman Dudaev, Lance Palmer, Felipe Froes and Rasul Magomedov. At ACA 200, Polpudnikov suffered a decision loss to Magomedov.

The matchup promises to be a classic clash of styles. Kokov will look to impose his wrestling and submission game, while Polpudnikov's experience and finishing ability make him a dangerous opponent every time he steps into the cage.

ACA 207 takes place on September 12 at Basket Hall in Krasnodar. Tickets are available now on the official ACA website.
