Former ACA welterweight champion Albert Tumenov spoke about his preparations for his upcoming title fight against reigning champion Zhakshylyk Myrzabekov. The bout will headline ACA 210 in Bishkek on December 4.
“I'll be bringing in sparring partners from Dagestan for this training camp. I've already made arrangements with two guys who are good wrestlers and strong sparring partners. I'll stick to my usual style and look to outstrike my opponent. If he takes me down, I'll get back to my feet and keep fighting.
At this stage of my career, I want to focus more on my own needs and have the entire training camp built specifically around me.
Right now, I'm motivated to take the title from Zhakshylyk, then move up to middleweight and compete there, ” Tumenov said.
The fight between Albert Tumenov and Zhakshylyk Myrzabekov will headline ACA 210 on December 4 in Bishkek. The event will mark the promotion's first-ever show in Kyrgyzstan.
