Tanner Boser: If he remains the champ after ACB 90, I believe him and I have unfinished business

We’ve interviewed #4 ranked ACB heavyweight Tanner Boser, who has accepted the short notice fight against the former champion Salimgerey Rasulov.

Tanner you are stepping in to this fight on a really short notice. Tell us does it put any pressure on you or you are always in shape and ready for war?

-  I am stepping into this fight on very short notice but I am always training hard and always ready to fight. I believe true fighters will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime and I aim to live up to that.

You have an impressive win streak. And the main event of ACB 90 will be a heavyweight title bout. You've already fought the current champion once and it was a close match. Tell us if you have a desire to get a rematch especially in a title fight in case both of you win your fights on ACB 90.

-  I think that the 4th win in a row, especially over a former champion like Rasulov, should be enough to earn me a title shot.  Plus, me and current champ Vakhaev fought to a close split decision a couple years ago in a fight that could have gone either way.  If he remains the champ after ACB 90, I believe him and I have unfinished business.

What can you say about your opponent?

- Rasulov is a very strong fighter with heavy hands.  He is durable and he has heart.  He is a tough fighter but those are the kind of fights I want.  It’s Tank vs Bulldozer and only one can win.  It’s my job to make sure that it’s me.

You have almost the same quantity of fights but most of his victories were by TKO\KO. Does it bother you?

- He has most of his wins by KO/TKO but so do I.  We both have the power to knock each other out.  The way I see it, either someone will go down hard and fast or it will be a war until the end.
