The sparring partner of the former UFC champion Ramazan Kuramagomedov signed a contract with the ACB league

The ACB League has always been actively searching for and selecting young talented fighters. For example, at one time the league matchmakers signed a contract with Petr Yan who had a modest record of 1-0.

Then, few people could anticipate that in two years this fighter's name will be among the top prospects in the popular Western MMA rankings. It is bringing up their own talents that is one of the main directions of matchmaking in the League. Therefore, on behalf of the ACB team we are pleased to introduce the new fighter of the League - Ramazan Kurmagomedov. Ramazan does not have a record in professional MMA at the moment, but his experience in amateur MMA is quite impressive. His most significant achievement is being a two-time winner of the Russian MMA Cup.

He will fight in the welterweight division. Now Ramazan spends most of the time living in the USA where he’s training at the Jackson Wink MMA camp. There he has regular sparring sessions with Donald Cerrone and Carlos Condit. His coaches claim that this guy has a great future, and we totally agree with them. Ramazan is also a long-time sparring partner of the former UFC champion Chris Weidman.

And if you think that one of the world's most powerful middleweights easily copes with this young man, you are wrong.

P.S. If you still refuse to take our word for it, Chris Weidman himself will tell you about his impressions after their sparring: "Hello. I'm here with my buddies Ramazan and Timur. This 19-year-old guy is really kicking my ass. I’ve barely jumped aside. The Dagestan fighters are too tough, big time".
