Russian fighter Alexey Makhno will face Kazakhstan’s Kuat Khamitov in a welterweight bout at ACA 209. The event will take place on October 30 in Dushanbe.
The matchup between Makhno and Khamitov had been scheduled previously but was postponed several times. The two fighters will now officially meet at the Palace of Tennis and Water Sports Complex in the capital of Tajikistan.
Ahead of the fight, the two have already exchanged statements on social media. Khamitov addressed Makhno:
“Get ready. Retirement awaits you in Tajikistan. I came to ACA to get rid of fighters who don’t belong here. ”
The Russian fighter responded:
“I’ll be happy to beat my opponent in front of the loudest fans in the CIS. ”
The 36-year-old Makhno has competed in 40 professional MMA bouts, earning 27 victories against 13 losses. The 38-year-old Khamitov holds a professional record of 25 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw.
ACA 209 takes place on October 30, 2026, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
