ACA heavyweight champion Alikhan Vakhaev was a special guest at the Russian Cup match between Grozny’s Akhmat and Fakel Voronezh.
On August 18, a special combat sports Match Day featuring representatives of ACA and Akhmat Fight Club took place at Akhmat Arena.
One of the main guests of the evening was ACA heavyweight champion Alikhan Vakhaev. Before kickoff, Vakhaev stepped onto the pitch with his ACA championship belt and took the ceremonial first kick.
Before the match, Alikhan also took part in an autograph session, giving fans an opportunity to meet the champion, take photos with him and get his autograph.
Another part of the combat sports Match Day was a special masterclass held in the stadium concourse. Representatives of Akhmat Fight Club demonstrated elements of their training routine, including pad work and techniques used by fighters as part of their preparation for competition.
As a reminder, on August 15 at ACA 206 in Moscow, Alikhan Vakhaev successfully defended his ACA heavyweight championship.
