The middleweight Vyacheslav Vasilevsky, the participant of the ACB 65 tournament, told about the final stage of his preparation for the upcoming fight, his training partners and Denis Goltsov teasing.
I’ve been preparing for this fight very responsibly. I went to St. Petersburg, spent a two weeks long camp there. I trained with Denis Goltsov, Mikhail Mohnatkin, Bibulat Isaev who has recently fought at ACB KB. The opposition, as you see, was serious. The physical activity was intense too. My last workouts before the fight are with my friend, a boxer from Nizhny Novgorod Dmitry Mukhin. I’m done with tough trainings, now we have light workouts, cutting weight. Now it is very important to recover and approach the fight rested and in a good mood.
I watched Denis Goltsov’s interview, in which he said that I was joking funny and dirty. I was not even offended by him, because look how many nice words he said about me there. When I watched that interview, I almost burst into tears (laughs). I was so pleased that I even called him and thanked him. He replied that he always has nice words to say about a good person and he just told the truth. This strengthened our friendly tandem even more.
