- How is the preparation going and give us your thoughts on the shape of your athletes?
Our guys from “New Stream”, Alexander Sarnavskiy, Alexey Polpudnikov and Timur Nagibin are all in great shape. They have had a serious training camp. We have a little over a month till the event and during that time we’ll be working on our tactics and game plans. Umar has a serious opponent in front of him but he’s ready and the most important thing now for him is to make weight.
- How do you rate the competition your guys will be going against?
We’re facing some high-level opponents! Especially Timur Nagibin, who’s facing the toughest test of his career - Georgi Karakhanyan. It is an extremely important fight for him because Georgi has a win over his teammate Alexey Polpudnikov. Alexey will be going against a tough opponent in Alexander Peduson. ACB did a great job in matching those guys, so we’ll be watching some exciting fights. All of our guys will be taking on serious challenges!
